the exams are finally over.everyone is going to enjoy and relax except me cause my flying lessons have resumed.to be precise,it started today.it went well despite me being a little nervous at first.but i guess with my instructor juz shutting his trap shut and not humming at me i managed to be more confident and as it turned out, i did better.=) had ground school as well.my course mate is taking the same exam as me next friday so we ended up studying together.

flying again tomorrow.attending ground school too.now i finally know the meaning of commitment.PPL course is a whole new world.there's so little time for social activities.what have i gotten myself into?well i think that this commitment is going to last for at most 1 year and i think that license is worth all this shit.

i found my source of inspiration too.he's a senior at yfc.i really respect him cause he's very humble and he's a good pilot.he does so well for his ground school exams and he's a good flyer.he really works hard for everything.whenever i think of giving up,i'll just think:'hey he can do it,so can i'.fighter pilot was at ground school too doing his own stuff.if only he wasn't busy just now.hehe.then i could ask him all about being a fighter pilot.but he's a very strict person in the air.and an excellent pilot too.hey what do you expect.he's a fighter pilot from a world class airforce.

i'm very tired and i need to prepare for tomorrow's flight.flapless.

the title of this post may sound funny,but it is actually the name of a band from new york.esdy introduced it to me after sharifah sent their song to him.well the music they play is somewhat similar to the strokes.this evening their music video goodnight goodnight was on mtv.the song is very catchy and addictive.i recommend it to people who feel like dancing,not forgetting indie fans.

computer programming paper was quite alright.many many thanks to jason for coming down to school to help me.i guess if he hadn't come yesterday,i would be staring at an F and repeating this module.oh real madrid beat barcelona 4-2 in the clash of the titans of the primera liga this morning and over in the premier league the youngest player in the history of the EPL has scored.he's james vaughan from everton.i was thinking the whole day how lucky he is because he is only 16 and already playing in the big league.here i am struggling like mad with comp. programming and he's earning thousands kicking balls all day.how i wish i had gifted talent like him,mayb playing for a big club and earning millions even before i reach 20 and all the girls will go crazy over me.haha.

i didn't know that saturday nights had great shows on tv.there was this show on discovery travel and adventure about how to decorate your home from scratch.i think it's called e-design.what i like about it is that the show is set in england.english homes are beautiful compared to american ones.i noticed that british homes are very close to one another whereas the american homes are far apart.i think when homes are close to one another it creates warmth among neighbours.but the setback is when you're living too close to one another is that your privacy may be intruded and you cant do things such as blasting your home theater system to the max.

well i'm sure all of you realise that there is this unspoken rivalry between the british and americans especially the music industry.the american artistes hardly break into the british market and vice versa.im not sure why but i guess it's the different music taste?the british are proud of their music history dating back to the 60's where there were bands such as the beatles and mod bands like the who and the kinks.till today,many british bands are influenced by the bands in the 60's to 80's.such bands are oasis,belle and sebastian and the kaiser chiefs.a week ago i watched 'america or busted' on mtv.it was a show abt busted going to america trying to promote their music.what suprised me was that most people in america dont even know busted existed.so this clearly shows the americans listen to their type of music,and the british listen to their own music.unlike singaporeans who listen to everything.

i just visited fariha's blog.she's a friend of mine btw not some stranger.after visiting her blog,i've been inspired to write an entry cause her blog is full of page long entries!and so i've decided to write an entry.

had etech exam today.i actually went to the wrong exam venue.haha.how stupid of me.the paper was ok la.balance of easy and difficult questions.after that went to eat with ismail.i had fish n chips cause i miss it.oh ya fizzah say i anyhow eat only(the fish n chips shop owned by chinese).and so i told her:dont think,just eat.it's not that i'm eating pork or drinking beer.anyway after eating and having a good time chatting about yfc with ismail i went home with azfar.this time we talked about chics.i cant get tis chic out of my mind.she's super hot la.but im not having a crush on her or anything.it just surprises me that such beautiful people exist in singapore(i think all chics are in indonesia or malaysia).when i got home nobody was around so i went to play football.ashok was with his friends.and as usual mr moscow circus aka adi aka wahab was there too entertaining us with his crazy antics.he's just naturally funny.

after playing for 2 hrs,i went home limping a lil.coz i got injured.somehow or rather i kicked the ball wrongly.and now my feet kinda hurts.got a shocking news when i got home.my mum bought herself a new bed.she's very delighted.im happy for her too.and my brother is going for a joyride with the youth flying club.i bet he's gonna ask me a whole lot of qns.nvm,he's got the interest.

and as usual it's my late night msn sessions.talked to quite alot of people today.but surprisingly omar wasnt around,probably he's wanking all the sperm he's got.i cant get enough of My Wife and Kids.the show is super hilarious.sometimes i wonder how they get the idea to do such sitcoms.it's actually a very good programme because it inculcates good family values and adding that touch of humour to it.i bet no one in s'pore have ever thought of that idea before.ok to be fair we got shows like pck and under one roof.but these shows are lame.it's nothing compared to my wife and kids which is so much better.

went to simple plan's concert last week for free.got the tix from my dad.sold my cd to omar for 10 dollars.needed that cash to buy my mom's bday present.bought her a cookbook.went to this turkish restaurant for dinner with family to celebrate.place kinda sucked.i think KFC's better.well i didnt pay for it so i just shut up and ate.finally got into PPL.received flight suit,gloves and the necessary documents.in a totally new world now.no time for chics.just flying and studying.hope i make it all the way.my 1st solo was dope.flying alone beats everything i have ever done in my life.

riding a downhill slope

yest i had a flying lesson and it was quite alrite altho instructor wanted me to do better.but today,i performed even worst.don't know what was wrong but it was certainly bad.morale is down and confidence is low.now i dont even know if i'll even make it to 1st solo.PPL is another story altogether.i just cant seem to take total control of the aircraft just now.lining up on the centreline was a pain in the S.it's always drifting to either the left or right.most of the landings were bumpy.my poor anticipation and control of the a/c resulted in poorly executed turns.this really sums up my day;shitty.but i cant give up and i need to push on.hopefully i'll do better the next flight.

today during CRS we watched this film that charlie chaplin would be proud of.in most parts of this almost silent movie,there isn't any talking going on.The main actor(a zombie) doesn't even say a word.like wtf?is he dumb n mute or wat?and in this movie,there's just actions and behaviours of pathetic singaporeans who have a very sad life that even the somalians would be proud of their hardships.anywy i think an idiot like me can direct that kinda movie.easy wat.no script,just action.=p

thank god workshop practise wasn't that long.i almost died in that lecture.the teacher cant stop saying 'right'!as in after everything he says,he must say 'right'.example:now the grinding machine rite,why do u tink rite,is sumtimes better den milling?because rite blah3(i say blah3 because i duno the reason y grinding is sumtimes better den milling).ok anywys,zhiwei brightened up the class with his lame antics.watever mr 'right' said,he would blurt out sumting lame in return.

anywy he ended early coz he realised the class was sleeping,bsides zhiwei that is,and he was talking to himself.then i went to do cip with haireel n yee leng.f la it's such a drag man cip.i can actually spend that time doing sumthing productive like doing more blog entries for crs.haha.but it was fun blog-hopping my classmates' blogs.everyone had different opinions.and a few had eccentric blog addreses like kingofcum and ilovechonghon whereas there were sarcastic ones like justforcrs and stopreading and not forgetting boring ones which i shan't mention.well i had to change my blog address too cause it was kissmyass.=(

Is it fine for students to date lecturers?

A friend once told me he had this hot lecturer who wore g-string to class in body-hugging clothes and that was the reason why he paid attention in class.Although he does not date or even worse stalk her,i personally feel that it is not alright to admire or have a soft spot for a lecturer.Therefore in the next few paragraphs i'll explain to you in detail why i feel so.

Firstly,the lecturer is there to teach and guide you in terms of studies.The boundary between student and lecturer must be there and shall never ever be broken.Students go to school to study and not for admiring the lecturer and trying to date him/her.Parents pay tuition fees for their kids so that they will have a bright future and not to date lecturers.There are many students of the opposite sex in school so why must u date a lecturer?

Secondly,the system of meritocracy is practised here in Singapore.Let's use a girl for the following example.The dateline of her projects are due soon.She can't possible complete all of them in time.In a last ditch effort to save her grades,she dates the lecturer and sleeps with him because she knows that guys would do anything for a one night stand(sorry miss sabrina if the words i use are inappropriate!).The lecturer then has the obligation of passing her because he's slept with her.Now in this story,which do happen in some countries,corruption occurs.Therefore it's not fine for students to date lecturers because corruption may happen and students cheat their way to their diploma or degrees.This is unfair for students who have worked hard and put in effort.

Students should also never date a lecturer because most of them are already attached to people who are around their age and there are those who are also married.It is so very wrong to go out with someone who is already taken.Imagine going out with someone's mum.Think of what will happen to the family if the husband finds out you're going out with his wife.

In conclusion,students should never date a lecturer because:
1)there must be a student-lecturer boundary
2)corruption may happen and
3) most of the lecturers are either married or attached.
